This is a relatively new page to this website, although we've know since the website's conception that we'd have a rather large section devoted to rescue & rescue education. Please spend a little time reading a few thoughts we've pulled together on exactly what "rescue" means and how YOU can help, even if you don't have any pets!

We as citizens can make ALL the difference without the government putting into law what we can and can not do. If you live in California, Vote NO on measure AB1634, the so-called "Healthy Pet Act". We feel an especially strong bond to this organization as to our own Vizsla Rescue Groups... because the VIZSLA is the original stock bloodline from which the Weimaraner breed was created. (We are FREQUENTLY asked of our Vizsla, "...Oh, is that a red Weimaraner?..."! - - Well put it this way, If we only had a nickel for every time we've been asked that, we could come close to nearly retiring, funding this organization as well as at least one of the Vizsla rescue groups as well!!) -There is a particularly good page on this site entitled "Is The Weimaraner The Right Dog For Me"? - Please read this page as, again, it contains truth for BOTH the Weimaraner as well as the Vizsla breeds!
